Burst My Bubble!

I have known Anna since she was a student in my first grade class. It has been my privilege to watch her grow into an amazing young woman. She is a talented musician and artist; it was Anna who turned Drew’s room into a jungle. However, the best thing about Anna is how kind, caring and compassionate she is. If Drew were ever given the opportunity to choose who would come to visit, I’m confident he would choose Anna.

When Anna spends time with the children she has endless patience. Whether they are sharing books, doing projects, or just chatting, she is entirely focused on them. It’s no wonder they adore her. Anna can take simple things and turn them into fun. On Monday Anna’s mother, Claire, brought small bottles of bubbles for the boys. Soon the bubble mixture was gone, but that didn’t stop Anna. She used dish soap to create an evening to remember.

Perhaps you have seen the viral video, “Hahaha” on YouTube. It consistently ranks among the top ten most viewed videos of all time. Thanks to Anna and her bubbles, I think Karli’s laugh could compete with the baby on the video any day. Don’t be fooled thinking that the laughter is coming from Drew and Ry; it is all Karli! As you watch the video, be sure to catch Drew and Ry; they are smiling almost like proud, happy parents. Anna even pulled up the YouTube video for Karli; you can watch Karli watch the “Hahaha” baby at the end of this video:

Anna, I thank you and your mom from the bottom of my heart! Your frequent visits and thoughtfulness truly make a difference for Drew and for his siblings.
