At least that’s how it felt on Monday. The children spent most of the day outside enjoying perfect Minnesota summertime weather. Uncle Matt took a break from yard work to help Drew examine a daddy longlegs spider. Then we all went on an “exploring walk” ending up at the playground. The boys were excited to find two of their good friends also at the park. Next it was home for a swim where Drew showed off his new swim trick: daddy jumps in the deep end of the pool while holding Drew.
After the swim everyone relaxed on the deck while Unk (Uncle Matt) grilled a fabulous dinner. This was a real treat since dinner most nights consists of frozen pizza. Who knew that Monday–typically considered the worst day of the week–could be as great as a weekend day! We hope you enjoy the video:
