One of the things I love most about digital cameras is that very young children can use them. I was always interested in photography, but when I was young film and developing cost so much that I had to use my camera very sparingly. Ry, however, grabs a camera and shoots to his heart’s content. I got a kick out of his latest video. Unbeknownst to us, he managed to film every member of the family in just 31 seconds.
I always hoped for a grandchild who loves books. Yea! I have one. Karli will listen to books whenever someone will read to her; seriously, she will listen hour after hour. If no one is available to read to her, she “reads” to herself. Today Jen took Karli to Target to get her out of the house (lock-down is getting long). Jen told her that she could choose something to buy. Karli looked at clothes, shoes, and toys… but SHE CHOSE BOOKS!

You may have noticed that, yes, Karli wore her PJs to Target.
Finally, one of my favorite images of the year thus far:
