1. Karli is finally learning to use the computer. This was more of a challenge than I anticipated; the culprit was a Draz Fam favorite device–the iPad. You see Karli has spent months poking her finger at the screen of her brothers’ iPads and her mom’s iPhone. So, she figured that computers would work the same way. Whenever I directed her to the mouse or the keyboard she would push my hand away and begin to poke at the screen. However, motivated by Dora games and videos she is finally getting the hang of it.

2. Daddy and Karli play a wicked game of Candyland. According to Jay, Karli usually wins–legitimately–not by daddy throwing the game.

3. Nikki helped the children create a beautiful calendar. We would really appreciate it if friends and family would send the dates of your birthdays and anniversaries to Drew so that we can add them to the calendar. If you don’t know his email address, send me a message and I’ll get it to you.

4. On Sunday the germs finally caught up to Drew. By yesterday he was struggling so daddy and I went to work with frequent coughing, extra treatments, a very expensive inhaled medicine (we refer to it as liquid gold) and some extra love from Karli.

Today Drew is much better. Hopefully he’ll continue to improve, we’ll be able to manage his illness at home rather than going to the hospital and he’ll soon be back to baseline.
