What’s so special about the Draz kids?
Drew gives his life two thumbs up!
Drew (08-06-03) is special because he has SMA, type I/II. His movement is severely limited, but his zest for life is not. He is brave, sweet and one of the kindest children on the face of the earth.
The best bro ever!
Ryan (10-21-04) is special because he is the perfect brother/companion for Drew. Drew’s life would be empty without Ry. As the boys say, “Drew does the thinking and Ry does the moving.”

Karli (12-29-08) is special because she was frozen for five months. Karli was created in a laboratory and had one cell removed for testing when she was only an eight-cell embryo. Her papa says she had the same chance of being here as a star in the cosmos.

I love to check out the sites of kids with SMA at about the same age as our son Jojo; it is very inspiring to see older kids with SMA that are thriving. I’ll be visiting often. Praying for a healthy fall/winter/spring for all our kids and caregivers!
