Orlando

Orlando, July 2010
Whenever we told someone that we were going to Orlando, it was assumed that we were doing Disney. However, we found that Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove had more to offer Drew as far as activities that he could actively participate in. The story of this magical trip follows with a day-by-day account. [...]

Every Day is a Weekend…

At least that’s how it felt on Monday. The children spent most of the day outside enjoying perfect Minnesota summertime weather. Uncle Matt took a break from yard work to help Drew examine a daddy longlegs spider. Then we all went on an “exploring walk” ending up at the playground. The boys were excited to [...]

Memorial Day Afternoon

Yesterday I posted about the amazing Memorial Day ceremony the Draz Fam attended in the morning. However, the day didn’t stop there. The afternoon activities began in the pool with several guests enjoying the perfect swimming weather. Then everyone moved inside for a summer meal prepared by Claire with some help from Dana. Anna helped [...]

Memorial Day Ceremony

Jen and Kirstin honored their grandpa with a paver at a local memorial. Yesterday the entire Draz Fam attended a special ceremony at the memorial. Drew brought an American flag to honor his great-grandpa, Leon Niles. First he placed the flag on great-grandpa’s paver, announcing his love. Later he gave the flag to a veteran [...]
